1) Energy Efficient Air Conditioning System
All homes are equipped with DAIKIN’s state-of-the-art Super Multi NX Multi-Split Inverter Air-Conditioners which utilises only 1 compressor to multiple indoor units. Temperature settings for each room can be controlled individually to suit the preference of each person. While optimising personal comfort, Super Multi NX uses DC inverter technology which provides up to 60% energy savings compared to normal conventional air-conditioners.
In line with our modern aesthetics, the air-conditoners are all ducted and uses TROX’s solid aluminium air grilles for diffusing air and promoting good indoor air-flow.
2) Water Efficiency
KEN BANGSAR is the first to provide all WCs with eco-friendly and water efficient built-in bidet seat covers. The Penthouses enjoy the luxury of the World’s most technologically advanced WC, the TOTO Neorest (as featured in the Discovery Channel), chalking up yet another fi rst in the country.
Owners will enjoy the most luxurious designer water fittings, sanitary wares and whirlpools whilst making a difference to the environment.
The hot water systems are centralised for individual homes offering a significant savings in electricity consumption whilst affording almost uninterrupted hot water supply for owners.
3) Energy Efficiency
Motion sensors are used throughout the building to reduce unnecessary wastage of electricity at low traffic
areas. The Penthouses are equipped with Schneider
Electric’s Clipsal C-BUS Lighting Control System to
provide better mood controls and more efficient usage of
lightings in the home.
Energy efficient T5 Fluorescent tubes, PLC bulbs and LED lightings are used
extensively throughout the building and provides a significant savings in the
operational costs of the building.
4) Energy Efficient Lifts & Security Controls
The lifts at KEN BANGSAR are high speed and VVVF rated which provides a 30% more energy efficient control by smart programmes in reducing energy consumption during off peak hours.
To enhance security, the lifts and common areas are protected with KABA security control systems.
5) Sustainable Construction & Management
Careful planning and continuous on-site monitoring minimises wastages and reduces the need to discard construction materials off site.
The use of Wess Coat self-cleaning glass solution on our water feature and canopy overhangs reduces the maintenance cost for the building.
Airborne contaminants are kept to a minimum with the use of BIO-FINE low volatile compounds (Low VOC) paints to promote a healthy indoor environment. A special COOL-TIGHT thermal insulation paint is applied onto the lightweight roofs to provide further insulation and reduce thermal heat gains to the roof.
Meticulous arrangement of exotic WENGE veneer resulting in beautiful doors and minimisation of timber waste.
Close supervision and careful planning is practised to minimise wastage of natural wood products whilst creating fine finishes for the homes.
6) Building Envelope
The use of laminated Low-E glass on the whole building façade enhances the overall thermal performance and minimises heat gains to the building thus reducing the overall cooling load required in your homes. The laminated glass also provides UV protection, good soundproofing and acts as a safety glass.
